Helminth parasites of Illex coindetii (Cephalopoda: Ommastrephidae) off the Galician coast (NE Atlantic)

This paper analyses the helminth fauna of the flying squid Illex coindetii (Vernay, 1839) collected from natural stock off Galician shelf waters (NW Spain). Aspects of the morphology of the parasites and the host status of squid harbouring intestinal helminth larvae are discussed.
