Zusammenfassung:C sub(70) two-dimensional nanosheets were first synthesized by a liquid-liquid interfacial precipitation method with isopropyl alcohol and C sub(70)-saturated toluene adding ferrocene. The typical C sub(70) nanosheets have hexagonal shapes with ~4.6 [mu]m in size and ~350 nm in thickness. The structure shows a monoclinic one identical to C sub(70)(ferrocene) sub(2) bulk crystals grown from a solution with ferrocene reported previously. The monoclinic C sub(70) nanosheets are converted to fee ones by the evaporation of the ferrocene due to the heat-treatment, whereas the hexagonal shape and size remain almost unchanged.
