Zusammenfassung:This paper presents the derivation of a boundary integral formulation "BIE" for the transversely isotropic piezoelectric ceramics. The formulation is based on the Analog Equation Method "AEM" which simplifies the solution of the problem and eliminates the need of sophisticated mathematical operations for reaching relevant fundamental solution. The implementation and the validity of the formulation are shown through a numerical example and results are compared against known solutions.
