Zusammenfassung:This study demonstrates the potential of a Single Phase Cascaded H-bridge five level inverter governed by the fuzzy logic controller to improve the power quality by reducing the total harmonic distortion at the output voltage. A Sinusoidal pulse width modulation control technique is adopted in the firing circuit to provide an acceptable control in the inverter output voltage. Hence, the efficiency of the system will be improved. The proposed system offers improved performance over conventional three level inverters. The analysis has been simulated using MATLAB/Simulink.
