Zusammenfassung:We study the problem of bearing estimation in the case of coherent signal sources with the use of variational techniques for minimizing the target function defined on the basis of the ^sub p^ norm. A regularization technique similar to projection onto a signal subspace of given dimension is proposed. The numerical calculation of the bearing estimate variance and its comparison with the maximum-likelihood estimate variance as well as with the Cramer-Rao bound (CRB) are given.[PUBLICATION ABSTRACT]
