Alloimmune responses between Acropora hemprichi conspecifics: nontransitive patterns of overgrowth and delayed cytotoxicity

A study conducted in the Red Sea examined allogeneic interactions between Acropora hemprichi colonies. Results suggested that corals may be able to distinguish themselves from other life forms by recognizing conspecific attributes.
