Zusammenfassung:Infrared absorptivities are determined for a number of aqueous pollutants, including sulfate, and are evaluated with regard to long-wave climate forcing. The data support the fact that global climate change must be evaluated with the inclusion of all the important species and should be examined on a regional scale where microclimatic changes could be the dominant effects of real social and political concern.
