Zusammenfassung:Acrylamide, methyl acrylate, hydroxyethyl methacrylate, acrylic acid, and methyl methacrylate polymerize in the presence of various enzymes such as peroxidases, oxidases, etc. and their reaction substrates. The initiation of the polymerization mechanism is attributed to generation of free radicals that result from the enzyme-substrate reactions. The enzyme induced polymerization has been extended to multicomponent polymers.
