Zusammenfassung:Food habits of two populations of blue tilapia, Oreochromis aureus (Steindachner), in north central Florida were compared for type, amount, and energy of foods consumed. Blue tilapia in Lake Alice consumed mostly diatoms (probably detrital in nature), whereas blue tilapia in Lake George ingested mostly epiphytic green algae and diatoms.
