Aside from China (excluded here after extensive coverage in our April 2014 issue), more than 40 reactors are under construction, ranging from a prototype small modular reactor (SMR) to 1600 MWe PWRs. Two countries are building fast reactors, both scheduled for commercial operation in 2014.
