Zusammenfassung:In the case of a nonconical charging system, more uniform supply of coke nuts to the blast furnace by their introduction in the center of the bunker reduces the drag coefficient of the batch on the furnace gas by 36%. In addition, the replacement of coke by coke nuts is increased by 25%, and the flow rate of furnace gas is increased from 3.12 to 3.59 m 3 /min per unit useful furnace volume (1 m 3 ). The mean rate of replacement of coke by coke nuts is 0.69 kg/kg.
