Zusammenfassung: | The paper reports visible fluorescence in europium doped zinc tellurite glasses. The study focuses on measurement of fluorescence intensity by exciting the samples with wavelengths 355nm and 532nm of Quanta Ray Q-switched Nd:YAG laser which emits pulses of 7ns duration. The red emission intensity was measured with Acton monochromator attached with a CCD camera by varying laser power. The results indicate that two photon absorption (TPA) along with one photon absorption is the mechanism causing visible emission in europium doped zinc tellurite glasses. |
