A three-component reaction between trimethyl phosphite, dialkyl acetylene dicarboxylates and aromatic oximes is described as a simple and efficient route for the synthesis of dialkyl 2-(arylbenzylidene aminooxy)-3-(dimethoxyphosphoryl) succinates in high yields.
