Zusammenfassung:Fourth generation wireless communicationsystem is expected to support high data rate multimediaservices which is possible through Wideband Code DivisionMultiple Access (WCDMA) systems. Multi carrier CDMAsystem provides the advantage of frequency diversity andprocessing gain in CDMA system and thus reduces the bit errorrate. Capacity of CDMA based systems can be increased bydecreasing BER, which is possible through interferencereduction and interference suppression. Error performanceand capacity of OFDM based system can be improved throughproper synchronization. In this paper, virtual sub carrier basedfrequency and phase synchronization algorithm is proposedwhich reduces the BER of MC CDMA systems indeed withoutany transmission overhead.
