Composite binder for refractory concretes based on magnesia thixotropic mixes

Composite binder is prepared in the system Na 2 O–MgO–SiO 2 . Due to its production advantages it may serve as a basis for manufacturing high quality ceramic concretes based on periclase that may be used successfully for lining heating units in metallurgy and the building material industry.
