Zusammenfassung: | Ad hoc networks have become increasingly popular because they can provide mobile users with ubiquitous communication capability, that is, information access regardless of location. Many researches and applications of ad hoc networks have been reported. However, in order to achieve ubiquitous services, a new model and method are needed. In the present paper, we propose the Real Object-Oriented Communication (ROOC) method and describe an implementation of middleware for ad hoc networks based on the ROOC and P2P concepts. The proposed middleware can provide ubiquitous services and make the development of applications for ad hoc networks efficiently. We evaluate the proposed method and demonstrate its effectiveness.
► We propose a Real Object-Oriented Communication (ROOC) method for ad hoc networks. ► ROOC method can connect real objects to a network and obtain information of objects. ► ROOC method is practical method for realizing the future ubiquitous network society. ► We developed a middleware which can realize a quick and easy connection to MANET. ► ROOC method has high transmission success ratio and low transmission delay. |
