Determining Open-End Yarn Twist by the Striped Yarn Method

This report presents a method for producing a striped open end spun yarn and for using the stripes to determine the amount of twist in the yarn. Procedures for spinning a striped open-end yarn are also presented, as well as results of test on twist variability and distribution.
