Zusammenfassung:The dissolution behavior of Al-Zn-In-Mg-Ti sac-rifical anode used on amphibian vehicles and its protection performance for cathode were investigated under natural corrosion and self-discharge conditions using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, weight-loss measurement and scanning electron microscopy. Results show that Al-Zn-In-Mg-Ti sacrificial anode with self-discharge capacity is able to reduce the corrosion rate of cathode material to some extent, but its protective effectiveness is inefficient. The sacrificial anode had fair activity, and its corroded product was not easy to be peeled off, while some grains of the substrate were detached. Besides, naturally corroded sacrificial anode surface was influenced by the corroded product and oxide film, and the number of active spots was reduced with the progress of corrosion.
