Aimed at the fact that it is difficult to analyse the process and the mechanism of metal flow during the complex plastic bulk forming, by the secondary development, the stress and strain field was visualized. The plastic zone can be demonstrated directly, and the distribution of stress and strain can be shown quantitatively. For example, the distribution rule of stress and strain was obtained in the plastic zone, and the deformation process was analysed. These provide a useful method to analyse the metal flow and the deformation mechanism of the complicated plastic bulk forming. |
