Zusammenfassung: | An electrospinning technique was used to fabricate cadmium titanate/polyvinyl-pyrrolidone composite nanofibres. The composite nanofibres were then annealed at 600 C to obtain ilmenite rhombohedral phase cadmium titanate nanofibres. The structure, composition, thermal stability and optical properties of the as-synthesised and annealed cadmium titanate nanofibres were characterised by XRD, EDX, SEM, TEM, TGA, FTIR and UV-VIS spectroscopy. The average diameter and length of the nanofibres were about 150-200 nm and about 100 micron, respectively. |
