These samples have been characterized structurally, morphologically and magnetically by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and SQUID, respectively. The order of magnetic phase transition is revealed to be the second order from ferromagnetic to paramagnetic state. The maximum magnetic entropy changes (Δ
S
M), calculated from the M–H measurements, is 0.13, 0.16 and 0.20
J/kg
K for La
0.9Sr
0.1MnO
3, La
0.8Sr
0.2MnO
3 and La
0.7Sr
0.3MnO
3, respectively. |
