Zusammenfassung:We report our application of the Percoll-based technique for quantification of resting spores of the fungal pathogen Entomophaga maimaiga, formed in cadavers of gypsy moth, Lymantria dispar, larvae and recovered from loam soil collected at tree bases where resting spores have been collected for biological control introductions. We document the efficiency of this technique across resting spore densities from 10 super(1) to 10 super(5) resting spores/gram.
