Zusammenfassung:The object of this work is to investigate the dependence of the context of Al impurity doped in the ZnO (ZnO:Al) thin film gas sensor on the sensing characteristics for odor from sea foods. We found that doping a ZnO thin film gas sensor with Al impurity is effective in improving the sensitivity and selectivity of the sensor for exposure to odor from sea foods as well as TMA and DMA gases. A gas sensing method, based on the resistance change of a sputtered ZnO:Al thin film gas sensor, is useful as an inexpensive, more rapid and non-destructive method for the detection of freshness of sea foods.
