CXCL8, overexpressed in colorectal cancer, enhances the resistance of colorectal cancer cells to anoikis

Highlights • CXCL8 and TOPK were elevated in colorectal cancer (CRC). • High CXCL8 and TOPK expression levels were correlated with poor prognosis of CRC. • CXCL8 is strongly implicated in the resistance of CRC cells to anoikis through regulating AKT, TOPK and ERK pathways.
