Zusammenfassung:A pharmacokinetic model of uranium metabolism suitable both for bioassay and dosimetric purposes has been developed incorporating recycling between organs and plasma. This model is consistent with the information on uranium metabolism in both animals and man, and applicable to man. Excretion of U is almost 100% urinary. The model consists of a systematic part integrated with respiratory and gastrointestinal tracts.
