Zusammenfassung: | A particular formulation of the three-dimensional finite-element method relevant to the analysis of the triangular pyramid indentation is established. In order to investigate the influences of material constants and the apical angle of the triangular pyramid indenter on the indentation load-displacement relationship, elastic numerical analyses are carried out under several conditions. A comparison with the theoretical solution for a conical indenter is also shown. |
