Zusammenfassung:In this communication we report the 139.5-GHz EPR study of the stable tyrosyl radical (Y sub(122)) in Escherichia coli ribonucleoside diphosphate reductase (RDPR). It is the first high-frequency EPR spectrum of an endogenous protein radical that exhibits both Zeeman and hyperfine structure and thus provides a detailed characterization of the radical center.
