The results showed that tench granulocytes were more active in winter than in summer, and that phagocytic function was greatest at the seasonal temperature (30°C in summer and 12°C in winter) with respect to 22°C. This study suggests the importance of seasonally in the study of temperature effects on fish phagocyte function. |
