Zusammenfassung:A study used nutritional indices to develop biochemical correlates of feeding and growth rates for the juvenile summer flounder Paralichthys dentatus from North Carolina and Delaware. Results indicated that the RNA:DNA ratios were the most accurate predictors of growth rates. A model is presented that illustrates the impact of temperature adjustments and growth limitation on fish.
