Marvin Zelen, 1927–2014

Marvin Zelen, a giant in the evolution of clinical trials, died of cancer on 15 November 2014. He was 87 years old. Professor Zelen was the Lemuel Shattuck Research Professor of Statistical Science, as well as a member of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences (Emeritus) at Harvard University.
