Metabolic enzymes in coelomic cells (eleocytes) of the polychaete Nereis virens : sex specific changes during sexual maturation

A study examined the activities of enzymes, proteins and carbohydrates in the polychaete Nereis virens. Sex specific differences were found for citrate synthase and isocitrate dehydrogenase.
