Strategies for Enhancing Urban Capacity of Public Sports Service in China During Rapid Urbanization

The urban public sports service should be increased along with the rapid urbanization. However, it has not due to the fact that the government focuses more on economic development than on social construction, more competitive sports than on sports for all. Therefore, in order to promote the urban capacity to public sports service, the government should not only build new urban public sports service mechanism, but also strengthen its governance in dominating the service as well as in supporting sports organizations and market organizations so that a multiple service mechanism can be formed.
