Zusammenfassung:Water reuse is becoming a practical way to achieve compliance with National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) requirements. Dischargers in arid regions have been implementing reuse programs for a number of years to conserve water resources, but water-rich regions are developing water reuse programs to meet strict NPDES permit limitations and curb treatment cost increases. Some dischargers are even considering total reuse.
