Zusammenfassung:A simple approach for the efficient transfer of large gold nanoparticles from water to organic solvents using thiolated poly(ethylene glycol) as a phase transfer agent is presented. The addition of a common solvent during the phase transfer allowed for nanoparticles to be concentrated by a factor of 250 without aggregation.
