Toxicological and ecological implications of biotransformation enzymes in the tropical teleost Chaetodon capistratus

A study examined the hepatic cytochromes and glutathione transferases in Chaetodon capistratus. Results suggest that biotransformation enzymes may be involved in the metabolism of dietary allelochemicals in this species.
