Zusammenfassung: | A three-dimensional PC-based hydrodynamic model, B
achom-3, is developed using an Alternating Direction Implicit (ADI) finite difference scheme. The model is tested for a uni-nodal standing wave in a rectangular basin. The model results for the surface elevation and the velocities coincide with the analytical results. To verify the field applicability of the model, the model is applied to Suyoung Bay in Pusan, Korea. The numerically predicted velocity fields during the spring tide show good agreement with field measurements. Computed velocity fields show the expected phase difference between the velocities in the surface layer and those in the bottom layer. Subsequently, when applied to wind-driven currents, the model also yields encouraging results. |
