Zusammenfassung: | Water, sediment, Pleuroncodes monodon, and Genypterus maculatus samples were collected from different locations in the Arauco Gulf, Chile, and cadmium and lead levels were determined to assess their movement through a marine food chain. The exchangeable, reducible, and organically bound metal fractions were considered to be the bioavailable forms. The concentration factors calculated for Cd and Pb were 0.50 and 1.57, respectively, while the enrichment factors were calculated at 12.5 and 1.0, respectively. |
