Zusammenfassung:	Highlights • Depression and anxiety are common comorbidities in patients with epilepsy. • We examined NDDI-E and GAD-7 scores prior to and following lacosamide treatment. • Following treatment, there were no significant changes in GAD-7 scores. • Patients with an initial NDDI-E > 15 had significant improvements in NDDI-E scores. • Our results suggest lacosamide is safe to use in patients with mood disorders.
