Zusammenfassung: | Vector gratings combined with form birefringence in subwavelength-periodic structures were experimentally fabricated by imprinting on polarization-sensitive liquid crystalline polymers and subsequent polarization holographic recordings. Polarization-sensitive optical diffractions were well controlled and the diffraction properties were dependent on the combination of periodic birefringence due to the reorientation of the mesogenic director and form birefringence originating in subwavelength-periodic structures. Finite-difference time-domain was an effective tool for characterizing the optical properties of the polarization holographic gratings with subwavelength-periodic structures. |
