This article presents a new way to use multilayered substrates configurations aiming to, instead to optimize the gain of a printed loop antenna, to obtain a significant reduction of the antenna dimension. A circular loop antenna transformed in an octagonal shaped loop antenna is conceived, simulated, realized, and measured.
