Zusammenfassung: | In order to choose alloys for high-temperature hydrogen diffusion membranes, a wide range of Pd alloys with Pt and Rh containing between 0 and 25% alloying addition have been studied. The effects of dissolved hydrogen on the phase composition and mechanical properties of Pd-Pt and Pd-Rh alloys were examined. Hydrogen diffusion, permeation and sticking coefficients for some of the binary and multicomponent Pd-based alloys have also been investigated. It is shown that multicomponent alloys of palladium with metals of the platinum group are considered to possibly be suitable membrane materials for a long service-life under conditions of high pressure and temperature. |
