Zusammenfassung:Anchored osmotic pressure inducer was examined. Salt-containing filter paper attached to an osmotic membrane increased the water flux to more than 10% from the value of non-treated filter paper at 1MPa. The salt-containing filter paper was fabricated via graft polymerization of acrylic acid onto a filter paper followed by alkaline treatment. The filter paper was characterized by thermo gravimetric analysis (TGA), attenuated total reflection Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (ATR-FTIR), scanning electronic microscopy-energy dispersive X-ray spectrometry (SEM-EDS).
