Liver mercury and methylmercury concentrations in New England commons loons (Gavia immer)

Liver samples collected from common loons (Gavia immer) found dead were analyzed for mercury and methylmercury concentrations. Statistical analyses demonstrated no correlation between total mercury and methylmercury levels.
