Zusammenfassung:	MAgnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a widely used medical imaging modality that is now starting to be recognized as a valuable tool for non-medical applications. We show that that MRI can be used to visualize the internal structure of various shapes fabricated from calcium alginate and that this structure depends on the external geometry of the object.
