Zusammenfassung:The purposes of our study were as follows: to analyze polyamines in various Acinetobacter strains to define polyamine synthetic activity of Acinetobacter to validate usefulness of polyamine as a chemotaxonomic marker in the genus Acinetobacter . A single peak corresponding to diaminopropane was detected in extracts of all the authentic 11 strains tested.
