Zusammenfassung:In 1990 we reared Pandemis cerasana (Hb.) (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae) on apple leaves, at several constant temperatures, in order to determine the thermal response and fecundity. A non-linear function (Logan's curve) showed a good fitting to developmental rates of eggs, larvae and pupae, while the aging rate of females was best represented by a straight line. We also determined the death rates and emergence interval between males and females. Fecundity as function of age was represented by a Bieri's curve. Those parameters allow us to set up a phenological forecasting model, which can optimize the control of this pest in the field.
