The authors report continuously tunable (2.71μm - 2.83μm) operation of a diode-pumped mid-IR Er-doped ZBLAN fibre laser, with output powers >1 mW over the entire 120nm tuning range and > 5mW over 56nm (2.78μm to 2.83μm) of this range.
