Synthesis of printed quadrifilar helical antenna

A method to reduce the axial length of a printed quadrifilar helical antenna by optimisation algorithm while maintaining the different features (radiation coverage, axial ratio, impedance), is investigated. The synthesis is performed on the antenna pitch angle.
