The legal form of a DOP Management Board: a foundation or an association model to deal with the DOP in time of crisis

The study analyse the legal 'suit' of the GI and other food quality system's Managements Bodies in Spain throughout the national and regional legal framework Due to the financial crisis and the Administrative restrictions, the so-called Public Body model is in danger of extinction. In that sense, one of the goals of the study consists on identifying other models or structures of managing like interbranch associations, private associations or foundations because they are non-profit entities.
