Zusammenfassung:The weevil parasitoid Anisopteromalus calandrae (Howard) was released into a room infested with the rice weevil, Sitophilus oryzae (L.), to determine if the parasitoid could prevent commercially packaged wheat from becoming infested. Significant S. oryzae suppression (99.4%) occurred for up to 4 mo, after which the wheat became infested and was completely destroyed within 2 more months.
